A geography lesson in five Rounds.

Wheresat is free, needs no accounts and takes about five minutes. Every Round ends with a sourced Fact, so a wrong Guess still teaches something.

WAYS TO USE IT

  1. 1A warm-upPlay today's Daily together on the board at the start of a lesson. Ask the class to argue for an Option before you guess.
  2. 2Read the SourcesEvery Fact links to its Source. Have students open it and find one detail the Fact leaves out.
  3. 3Look for the tellBefore guessing, ask what in the image gives the Place away: a coastline, a street grid, a shadow, the bend of a river.
  4. 4Challenge another classPlay a random Game, then send its Challenge link. The other class plays the same five Places, and Results compare the scores.
